McNally was also kind enough to include Balthazar’s famous bread bowls to the menu. Supremely furnished and decorated, Pastis flies you across the Atlantic to a quaint Parisian café for the quick weekend getaway.

With what has to be the best pancakes in town, Clinton Street Bakery is hands down one of the must-try brunch spots in town. Tucked just below Houston Street in the Lower East Side, be ready for a decent wait for the absolutely delightful pancakes drizzled with generous portions of maple butter. Opened since 2001, their famous blueberry pancakes have been rated as the city’s best by New York Magazine, and if the wait is too long for brunch, you could always head there at dinner time, when pancakes will still be served.
